Music Poster Triptych

This project demonstrates my visual hierarchy skills to display a very strong first, second, and third read on 24x36 posters. The series is meant to be in a series of three; a triptych. One poster dedicated to a song by the artist including lyrics, song title, and artist name. The second is a tour poster, including the name of the tour, the year, tour dates, venues, and locations. 
The third and final poster is a tribute; anything related to the artist I wanted to pull from. Some of them call back to past discography or abandoned projects by the same artist. The visual narrative was inspired heavily by my chosen artist’s life, a young man rushed into stardom as a teenager and the struggles presented with the world knowing your every move. 
Close encounters with death and mental health struggles, the artist is now on a positive path to recovery and strength, a transitional and transformative narrative I wanted to utilize using negative space, black, white, and red as a throughline in the triptych.
